About FlowPick

FlowPick is a privacy-first browser extension and online toolkit for sniffing and downloading M3U8/HLS, MPD/DASH streams and regular media files — all processing happens locally in your browser.

FlowPick was created to solve a simple problem: saving videos, audio, and images from webpages is harder than it should be. Whether you're archiving an online course, keeping a podcast episode for offline listening, or batch-downloading images from a gallery, FlowPick handles detection, merging, and format conversion entirely in your browser — no server uploads, no FFmpeg, no command line.

Our Mission

Make media downloading as simple as one click, while keeping every byte of data on the user's device. We believe browser extensions should respect user privacy by design — not as a marketing afterthought.

Privacy by Design

FlowPick processes everything locally. We do not collect, store, or transmit personal data or browsing history. There are no analytics SDKs inside the extension, no hidden trackers, no third-party upload endpoints. The online tools on this site also run entirely in your browser.

Built on Modern Web Standards

FlowPick leverages File System Access API, OPFS (Origin Private File System), StreamSaver, Web Workers, and mux.js to deliver native-grade media processing in the browser — supporting 20GB+ files with three-tier write fallback strategy.

Open Source

FlowPick is open source under the MIT License. The code is publicly available on GitHub — contributions, bug reports, and feature requests are welcome.
