From page to file
Not sure what kind of link you have?
The extension connects a webpage to the right download tool. It reveals media requests so you can identify a direct file, HLS playlist, or DASH manifest.
Start with the media URL
If you have a direct file, playlist, or manifest URL, choose the matching tool above.
Use the extension to find media
When a webpage hides the real URL, FlowPick can detect public media requests on the original page.
Keep processing local
The tools work in your browser. Your media is not uploaded to a FlowPick server.
Processed in your browser
Media is handled on your device instead of being uploaded to a FlowPick processing server.
Respect source restrictions
The tools work with public, accessible media and do not bypass DRM, paywalls, or permissions.
Extension when needed
For pages that hide the media URL or require page context, use the extension on the original page.
FAQ
Before you download
Which tool should I use for a webpage video?
Use the FlowPick browser extension first to detect the media request on the original page. Then open the matching video, M3U8/HLS, DASH/MPD, or audio tool.
Can these tools download DRM-protected streaming services?
No. FlowPick does not decrypt DRM-protected media, bypass paywalls, or circumvent access controls. Use it only for media you are allowed to save.
Why does a public playlist or file URL sometimes fail?
The source may require cookies, a Referer, a logged-in session, or requests from its own website. Links can also expire. The extension can detect permitted requests, but cannot overcome DRM or source restrictions.
